ORDINANCE NO'. 93-46 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO ENTER <br />INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE SENIOR SNOW REMOVAL <br />PROGRAM WITH PASQUALE LANDSCAPING COMPANY <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-FIVE <br />DOLLARS PER DRIVEWAY <br />WHEREAS, the Village has advertised for bids pursuant to law <br />for the plowing of driveways for senior citizen residents for the <br />1993-1994 snow removal season; and <br />WHEREAS, sealed bids were received and analyzed by the <br />Village, and one of the lowest and best bids was determined to be <br />that of Pasquale Landscaping Company. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby and herein authorized and <br />directed to enter into a contract with Pasquale Landscaping Company <br />for the plowing of driveways for senior citizen residents for the <br />1993-1994 Senior Snow Removal Program, pursuant to the terms and <br />conditions set forth in the advertisement for bids, and the bid of <br />the contractor, and in the amount of One Hundred Thirty-Five <br />Dollars ($135.00) per driveway. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and <br />welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, and for the <br />further reasons set forth in the preamble hereof.
