RESOLUTION NO. 93-1 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />CREATING THE RECREATION SILVER <br />ANNIVERSARY COMMITTEE <br />WHEREAS, the Recreation Committee of the Village has been in <br />existance for twenty-five years; <br />WHEREAS, the Recreation Committee of the Village has through <br />the past twenty-five years provided a tremendous influence and <br />impact on the recreation facilities and programs throughout the <br />Village; <br />WHEREAS, many individuals over the past twenty-five years have <br />contributed towards the success of the recreation program in this <br />Village; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of Mayor and Council to establish a <br />committee to put together a celebration of the twenty-fifth <br />anniversary of the Recreation Committee. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. There is hereby and herein created a "Recreation <br />Silver Anniversary Committee" which shall be composed of not more <br />than ten members appointed by the Mayor, and approved by Council, <br />who shall serve a one. year term for no compensation, and shall have <br />as its primary objective the formation of a celebration program for <br />the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Mayfield Village Recreation <br />Committee. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of the Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village. <br />It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon passage by the <br />affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to <br />Council and approval by the Mayor o p is ~~e ar~ie mime <br />allowed by law.
