Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION <br />IN MEMORY OF TONY STARC <br />WHEREAS, Tony Starc was an outstanding and continuous supporter of <br />recreation in the Village of Mayfield beginning with his volunteer work <br />with the Girl's Softball League in 1968, his Chairmanship of the League <br />in 1969, his membership on the Recreation Lands Committee in 1970, and <br />his Chairmanship of the Recreation Committee in 1970 through 1971E his <br />Chairmanship of the All Star Days in 1972, and his Co-Chairmanship of <br />the Men's League in 1973; and <br />WHEREAS, Tony was the first to start work at any project, and the <br />last one to leave when clean up was completed, and his continuous <br />support in field work to help make the fields ready in the beginning <br />years was the basis of the success of this program; and <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield and its recreation enthusiasts <br />will miss his dedication, his popularity with adults and children, and <br />his many talents that were so beneficial to this program. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor, his administration, and the Council as <br />a whole, on behalf of the residents in the Village of Mayfield, do <br />hereby and herein commend Tony Starc for his outstanding and continuous <br />efforts on behalf of recreation in the Village of Mayfield, and do <br />hereby express .our sincere appreciation as well as condolences to his <br />family from his many friends at Village Hall and throughout the <br />community . <br />SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become a ive upon its <br />adoption by Council and signature of May d a ce ied copy <br />hereof shall be delivered to Ann ar h le of Cqunci . <br />PASSED: October 18 , 1993 <br />
