ORDINANCE NO. 92 32 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING AND AWARDING A CONTRACT <br />WITH PROTECT-O-SEAL, INC. FOR <br />CRACK SEALING AND JOINT SEALING VARIOUS <br />STREETS WITHIN THE VILLAGE <br />WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has reviewed various and <br />miscellaneous bids for the crack sealing and joint sealing of <br />various streets throughout the Village; and <br />WHEREAS, the Engineer has recommended the proposals of <br />Protect-O-Seal, Inc. as being the lowest and best bids. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby and herein authorized and <br />directed to enter into an agreement with Protect-O-Seal, Inc. as <br />and for the crack sealing and joint sealing of various streets <br />referred to within the proposals, throughout the Village of <br />Mayfield. <br />SECTION 2. The Director of Finance is authorized to make <br />payment upon completion of the work pursuant to the proposals set <br />forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br />reference. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4.
