ORDINANCE NO. 92-36 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 1305.11 RELATIVE <br />TO ARCHITECTURAL DRAWING REQUIREMENTS <br />UNDER THE BUILDING CODE <br />WHEREAS, the Architectural Review Board has made certain <br />recommendations for amendments and additions to Section 1305.11(b) <br />of the Codified Ordinances relative to architectural plan <br />requirements; and <br />WHEREAS, Council is in agreement that such requirements should <br />be included in the Code, and thus are hereby adopted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That Section 1305.11(b) is hereby and herein <br />amended to read as follows: <br />1305.11 FEES FOR SUBMISSION OF PLANS AND PLAN REQUIREMENTS <br />* ~ <br />(b) Six sets of plans shall be submitted and shall include <br />the following: <br />(1) Site and location plan, which shall show the <br />existing adjacent finished grades and proposed <br />finished grades relative to street grade. The plans <br />should include sewer connection elevations. <br />(2) Basement or foundation plans at the scale of 1/4" _ <br />1'-0. <br />(3) All other floor plans at the scale of 1j4" = 1'-0. <br />(4) All exterior elevations at the scale of 1/4" = 1'-0 <br />minimum for houses. <br />(5) Roof plan for flat roof structures showing al]_ <br />projections equipment chimneys, etc. giving their <br />heights above the roof line if not shown on the <br />elevations Method of screening exposed equipment <br />must be indicated. <br />(6) Sufficient scaled details ~e-d~Tix~-t~i~~a~~~e; ^f <br />thv d~si'r including typical wall sections special <br />wall sections, special framing conditions, unusual <br />exterior trim or material usage or any other <br />information needed to thoroughly and clearly <br />indicate the intended final configuration of the <br />structure. <br />(7 ) Location of garages and driveways should be shown on <br />the plot plan at the scale shown. <br />(8) All drawings shall be shown at a definite scale, as <br />indicated, and shall be reproduced at the scale <br />shown.
