NAME OF STREET: Highland Road ORDINANCE NO. 92-~7 <br />ROUTE NO.: CR - 47 DATE: October 19, 1992 <br />An emergency ordinance enacted by the Village of Mayfield, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, <br />in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement and requests the cooperation of the <br />County of Cuyahoga, Stale of Ohio. <br />WHEREAS, the MUNICIPALITY has recognized the need for and proposes the <br />improvement of a portion of public highway which is described as follows: <br />The repair and resurfacing of Highland Road (CR-47) from the Mayfield West <br />Corporation Line to S.O.M. Center Road (SR-91). <br />WHEREAS, this road project within the corporation limits of the MUNICIPALITY is <br />part of a larger COUNTY project which is the improvement of Highland Road (CR-47) <br />from Miner Road to S.O.M. Center Road (SR-91) in the City of Highland Heights and the <br />Village of Mayfield. <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, County <br />of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio: <br />A. CONSENT <br />1. That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of said <br />MUNICIPALITY be and such consent is hereby given to the COUNTY to <br />construct the above described improvement in accordance with plans, <br />specifications and estimates approved by the COUNTY. <br />2. That COUNTY personnel are hereby give consent to perform work ancillary to <br />the construction contract, including but not limited to minor drainage repair, for <br />the above described improvement. <br />B. COOPERATION <br />1. That the COUNTY and the MUNICIPALITY will cooperate in the repair and <br />resurfacing of Highland Road (CR-47) from the Mayfield West Corporation Line to <br />S.O.M. Center Road (SR-91). <br />2. That the COUNTY will arrange for the preparation of construction plans <br />and specifications, including necessary engineering reports for improvement, <br />under current Cuyahoga County Engineer standards for construction of County <br />roads and bridges. <br />3. That the COUNTY will arrange for the supervision and administration of <br />the construction contract. <br />
