ORDINANCE NO. 92- 41 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS FOR SNOW <br />REMOVAL FROM THE DRIVEWAYS OF SENIOR CITIZENS IN THE <br />VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD DURING THE 1992-1993 WINTER SEASON <br />WHEREAS, the Village has advertised, pursuant to law, for bids <br />pertaining to the removal of snow from the driveways of senior <br />citizens during the 1992-1993 winter season; and <br />WHEREAS, the Village was divided into three (3) districts, and <br />bidders were invited to bid on one (1) or all three (3) districts; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the lowest and best bidders were Bordonaro's <br />Landscape Co. and Pasquale Landscaping, both of whom made a bid of <br />One Hundred Thirty and no/100 Dollars ($130.00) per driveway, for <br />one and one-half (1 1/2) of the districts advertised. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the, Mayor is hereb: <br />directed to enter into agreements with <br />and Pasquale Landscaping as and for snow <br />~_.- of senior citizens as directed by th <br />Director of Service, and pursuant to the <br />all bid specifications, for an amount <br />Thirty and no/100 Dollars ($130.00) per <br />be made pursuant to the specifications <br />t and herein authorized and <br />Bordonaro's Landscape Co. <br />removal from the driveways <br />e Mayor's office and the <br />advertisement for bids and <br />not to exceed One Hundred <br />driveway, and payments to <br />as advertised. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and <br />welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason <br />to encourage commercial development within Mayfield Village.
