ORDINANCE NO. 2006-40 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF PANZICA COMPANIES <br />FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES RELATED TO THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF THE VILLAGE'S POLICE STATION AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT <br />WITH PANZICA COMPANIES FOR CONSTRUCTION <br />MANAGEMENT SERVICES RELATED THERETO. <br />WHEREAS, the Village, pursuant to R.C. 153.65 through 153.71, solicited <br />Qualification Statements from individuals and firms interested in providing construction <br />management services to the Village; and <br />WHEREAS, after legal notices were advertised soliciting such individuals and firms, <br />Qualification Statements were received and reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, thereafter, Panzica Companies was found to be the most qualified firm to <br />provide construction management services related to the construction of the Village's Police <br />Station. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor is authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with <br />Panzica Companies, in accordance with the fee proposal attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein by reference as Exhibit "A", which has been chosen to be the most qualified firm <br />pursuant to the mandates of Revised Code 153.65 through 153.71 to provide construcfiion <br />management services related to the construction of the Village's Police Station. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; <br />and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, <br />took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
