ORDINANCE NO. 2006-44 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 907.03 OF THE VILLAGE'S CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCES PERTAINING TO THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS OF <br />COUNCIL ON THE BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE. <br />WHEREAS, it has been deemed in the best interest of the Village <br />residents and the efficient operations of the Village's Beautification Committee <br />created pursuant to Codified Ordinance Chapter 907 to amend Section 907.03 <br />of the Codified Ordinances pertaining to the number of inembers of Council on <br />the committee from 3 members of Council (2 regular and 1 alternate) to 2 <br />members of Council (1 regular and 1 alternate). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF <br />MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1: Section 907.03 of the Codified Ordinances ofthe Village of <br />Mayfield pertaining to the number of inembers of Council on the Beautification <br />Committee be amended as set forth in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference to this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 2: All other Codified Ordinances shall remain in effect unless <br />inconsistent with this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open <br />meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its <br />committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the <br />public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4: This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the <br />residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately <br />upon the passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members
