ORDINANCE NO. 2005-55 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EIVIERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CODIFIED ORDINANCE 1309.05(g) BY ADOPTING A NEW <br />MISCELLANEOUS PERMIT FOR CONSTRUCTION FEE <br />WHEREAS, the Village's Building Department under the direction and <br />control of the Building Commissioner of the Mayfield Village is charged with the <br />duty to inspect all construction within the Village to assure compliance with all <br />applicable codes and building requirements; and <br />WHEREAS, upon review and recommendation of the Building <br />Commissioner, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the health, safety and <br />welfare of all Village residents to amend Codified Ordinance Section 1309.05(g) <br />by adding new Miscellaneous Permit Fee which will cover all structures and <br />construction not specifically listed therein. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE, COUNCIL OF <br />MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO: <br />SECTION 1. That Codified Ordinance Section 1309.05(g) be amended by <br />adopting new Section 1309.05(g)(23) as more specifically set forth in the Exhibit <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall be applicable to all inspections <br />undertaken on or after the 1 st day of January 2006. <br />SECTION 3. That the rest, residue and remainder of all Village ordinances <br />shall remain as presently drafted unless inconsistent with this ordinance. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open <br />meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its <br />committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the <br />public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of <br />Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the <br />residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately
