RESOLUTION NO. 91- 34 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF AN <br />INFORMAL BID FROM RING ESCAVATING~ INC. <br />FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS AT THE STORM SEWER OUTLET <br />NORTH OF 613 TIMBERLINE TRAIL AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, The King Excavating, Inc. is to furnish necessary <br />equipment, labor and material to make the necessary improvements <br />at storm sewer outlet North of 613 Timberline Trail; and <br />WHEREAS, Mayfield Village, Ohio received and informal bid' <br />from King Excavating;, Inc. to provide such service for an amount <br />of Eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($8,500.00); and <br />WHEREAS, two written bids have been received by the <br />Building Commissioner/Service Director in accordance with the <br />Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village; and <br />WHEREAS, Mayfield Village, Ohio, has an immediate need for <br />such improvements at the storm sewer outlet; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor and President of Council is hereby <br />authorized to enter into an agreement with King Excavating, Inc. <br />to furnish the necessary equipment, labor and material to make <br />the necessary improvements at the Storm Sewer Outlet North at 613 <br />Timberline Trail work in the amount of Eight Thousand Five <br />Hundred Dollars ($8,500.00), in accordance with the informal bid <br />submitted by said King Excavating, Inc. <br />SECTION 2. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />and directed to pay King Excavating, Inc. the sum of Eight <br />Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($8,500.00) in accordance with <br />informal bid. <br />
