RESOLUTION NO. 91- 78 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD <br />TO PARTICIPATE IN OHIO~S COOPERATIVE <br />PURCHASING PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, Ohio's Cooperative Purchasing Act (Am. Sub. H.B. <br />No. 100), was signed into law by Governor Richard F. Celeste on <br />December 4, 1985; and <br />WHEREAS, effective March 6, 1986, Ohio's Cooperative <br />Purchasing Act provides the opportunity for counties, townships, <br />municipal corporations and school districts to participate in <br />contracts of the State of Ohio, Department of Administrative <br />Services, Office of State Purchasing for the purchase of <br />supplies, services, equipment and certain materials; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Council <br />name of the Village of Mayfield <br />which the Department of Adminis <br />Purchasing has entered into for <br />services, equipment and certain <br />Code Section 125.04. <br />hereby requests authority in the <br />to participate in State contracts <br />trative Services, Office of State <br />the purchase of supplies, <br />materials pursuant to Revised <br />SECTION 2. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby <br />authorized to agree in the name of the Village of Mayfield to be <br />bound by all contract terms and conditions as the Department of <br />Administrative Service, Office of State Purchasing prescribes. <br />Such terms and conditions may include a reasonable fee to cover <br />the administrative costs which the Department of Administrative <br />Services incurs as a result of the Village of Hayfield's <br />participation in a contract. Further, that the Mayor and <br />President of Council hereby agree to be bound by all such terms <br />and conditions. <br />SECTION 3. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby <br />authorized to agree in the name of the Village of Mayfield to <br />directly pay the vendor, under each such state contract in which <br />
