RESOLUTION NO. 91-82 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />OF COMMENDATION TO PATROLMAN STEPHEN M. LABIIDA <br />FOR HIS MERITORIOUS SERVICE WITH THE <br />U.B. ARMY IN THE PERSIAN GULF WAR' <br />WHEREAS, Patrolman Stephen M. Labuda served this country in <br />the U.S. Army in the Persian Gulf War; and <br />WHEREAS, Patrolman Stephen M. Labuda was recently notified <br />that he will be the recipient of the Bronze Star from the U.S. <br />Army for his meritorious service; and <br />WHEREAS, Patrolman Stephen M. Labuda, as a result of this <br />award, was featured on Channel 3 relating to his service to his <br />country as a soldier and to Mayfield Village as a police officer; <br />and' <br />WHEREAS, Patrolman Stephen M. Labuda, through his <br />dedication, favorably represented his country, the police <br />department and the community of Mayfield Village; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, <br />on behalf of themselves and all the employees and residents of <br />the Municipality hereby commend and express their deep <br />appreciation and "thanks" to Patrolman Stephen M. Labuda for his <br />dedication to his country and his community .in the U.S. Army and <br />the Mayfield Village Police Department. <br />SECTION 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and <br />directed to prepare duplicate original copies of this Resolution. <br />One such original shall be presented to Patrolman Stephen M. <br />Labuda as a small token of the esteem in which he is held by the <br />residents, officials and employees of Mayfield Village, Ohio. <br />The other original shall be placed in the permanent records of <br />the Village as a lasting tribute to Patrolman Stephen M. Labuda. <br />SECTION 3.
