RESOLUTION NO. 91-82 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole A RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION TO PATROLMAN STEPHEN M. LABIIDA FOR HIS MERITORIOUS SERVICE WITH THE U.B. ARMY IN THE PERSIAN GULF WAR' WHEREAS, Patrolman Stephen M. Labuda served this country in the U.S. Army in the Persian Gulf War; and WHEREAS, Patrolman Stephen M. Labuda was recently notified that he will be the recipient of the Bronze Star from the U.S. Army for his meritorious service; and WHEREAS, Patrolman Stephen M. Labuda, as a result of this award, was featured on Channel 3 relating to his service to his country as a soldier and to Mayfield Village as a police officer; and' WHEREAS, Patrolman Stephen M. Labuda, through his dedication, favorably represented his country, the police department and the community of Mayfield Village; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, on behalf of themselves and all the employees and residents of the Municipality hereby commend and express their deep appreciation and "thanks" to Patrolman Stephen M. Labuda for his dedication to his country and his community .in the U.S. Army and the Mayfield Village Police Department. SECTION 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to prepare duplicate original copies of this Resolution. One such original shall be presented to Patrolman Stephen M. Labuda as a small token of the esteem in which he is held by the residents, officials and employees of Mayfield Village, Ohio. The other original shall be placed in the permanent records of the Village as a lasting tribute to Patrolman Stephen M. Labuda. SECTION 3.
