ORDINANCE. 91- 55 . <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDIPTANCE <br />GRANTIIQG A VAYtIANCE TO MAYFIELD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH <br />FOR THE PURPOS]E OF 2SAINTAINING AND LOCATING <br />SIGNS ON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED <br />AT 810 S.O.M. CENTER ROAD <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, on July 21, 1985, Mayfield Village Council enacted <br />Ordinance No. 85-16 which required that all commercial signs must <br />be in compliance with the Codified Ordinances within five (5) <br />years; and <br />WHEREAS, Mayfield United Methodist Church has submitted <br />drawings for signs on the premises known as 810 S.O.M. Center <br />Road that would be in violation of two (2) separate sections of <br />Mayfield Village Codified Ordinances; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayfield United Methodist Church has requested <br />a variance in order to maintain and locate the signs on such <br />property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Building Commissioner has reviewed such signs <br />and has given his recommendation that Mayfield United Methodist <br />Church should be granted a variance in order to maintain and <br />locate the signs in accordance with the drawings submitted; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission on December 2, <br />1991 recommended to Council to grant two (2) separate variances; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, to avoid unreasonable hardship to the property <br />owner, Council is desirous to grant such variances to Mayfield <br />United Methodist Church to maintain and locate the signs in <br />compliance with the drawings submitted. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Mayfield United Methodist Church is hereby <br />granted two (2) separate variances for purposes of maintaining <br />and erecting signs on the premises known as 810 S.O.M. Center <br />Road, to wit:
