ORDINANCE NO. 2013-15 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />ADOPTING NEW CODIFIED ORDINANCE SECTION 1353.075 <br />RELATING TO TRIMMING AND PRESERVATION OF TREES; <br />REMOVAL OF DANGEROUS TREES. <br />WHEREAS, at the request of the Village's Building Commissioner and review by the <br />Ordinance Review Committee it is their collective recommendation and the Ordinance Review <br />Committee has approved the adoption of new Codified Ordinance Section 1353.075 <br />TRIMMING AND PRESERVATION OF TREES; REMOVAL OF DANGEROUS TREES; and <br />WHEREAS, this new Section will permit the Building Commissioner and/or Service <br />Director to consult with the Village's Certified Arborist from time to time to inspect trees and <br />shrubs located upon the exterior property areas and tree lawns that may pose a nuisance to <br />persons, neighboring property, public property and public infrastructure; and <br />WHEREAS, Village Council deems it in the best interest of the Village and its residents <br />to adopt new Codified Ordinance Section 1353.075 as recommended by the Village's Building <br />Commissioner and Ordinance Review Committee. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. New Section 1353.075 of the Village's Codified Ordinances is enacted as <br />per the recommendation of the Ordinance Review Committee and shall read as more fully set <br />forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />SECTION 2. All other provisions of the Village Codified Ordinances not inconsistent <br />herewith shall remain in full force and effect. <br />SECTION 3 . The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy <br />of this Ordinance to the Codifier of the Village of Mayfield. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took <br />
