ORDINANCE NO. 2011-41 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, FOR THE FY 2010 STATE <br />HOMELAND SECURITY PROGRAM ("SHSP") COMMUNITY EMERGENCY <br />RESPONSE TEAM ("CERT") BUILDOUT. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. EA2011-0044 duly adopted on January 18, 2011, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio approved the FY 2010 State Homeland Security Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the Agreement between Mayfield Village and the County is to <br />coordinate and identify activities, procurement, and services utilizing grant funds received by the <br />County as they pertain to the FY 2010 SHSP; and <br />WHEREAS, the Village deems it in its best interest to enter into an Agreement with the <br />County setting forth the responsibilities of each party and the coordination of these responsibilities <br />as it relates to the FY 2010 SHSP. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor is authorized and directed to enter into an Agreement Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio and Mayfield Village as more fully set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings ofthis Council; and that <br />deliberations ofthis Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, tools place in <br />meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />
