? <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2001- 27 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING THE RESERVATION AND DEDICATION TO AND FOR <br />THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD OF PARTICULAR PORTIONS OF <br />LAND OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD ALONG <br />SOM CENTER ROAD, BETWEEN WILSON MILLS ROAD <br />PROCEEDING NORTH TO WHITE ROAD, <br />FOR PUBLIC HIGHWAY, STREET AND AVENUE PURPOSES, AND <br />PURPOSES RELATED OR INCIDENTAL THERETO <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield will be proceeding with the widening of SOM <br />Center Road between Wilson Mills Road North to White Road; and <br />WHEREAS, federal regulations require that Village of Mayfield owned real property <br />needed for said project be available for said purposes ; and <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield desires to reserve and dedicate to itself particular <br />portions of land owned by the Village of Mayfield in the project area for public highway, <br />street and avenue purposes, and all purposes related or incidental thereof. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Village of Mayfield hereby permanently reserves and dedicates <br />to itself, for public highway, street and avenue purposes, and purposes related or incidental <br />thereto, each and every portion of land owned by the Village and described within <br />Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein, for all purposes, which are also known <br />as portions of the following Permanent Parcel Numbers: <br />831-07-015 831-15-014 831-15-008 831-15-011 831-15-010 <br />831-15-009 831-11-011 831-11-020 831-11-019 831-07-005 <br />831-07-006 831-07-007 831-07-010 831-09-001 831-09-002 <br />831-05-065 831-07-002 831-05-067 831-07-016 <br />SECTION 2. That the Mayor, along with the President of Council be and hereby are <br />authorized to execute, for and on behalf of the Village of Mayfield, any and all documents <br />and instruments necessary or useful to effectuate or memorialize the above described <br />reservations and dedications. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; <br />and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, <br />took place in meetings open to the pu6lic, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
