ORDINANCE NO. 99-28 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE <br />OF REAL ESTATE FROM THE <br />MAYFIELD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH <br />WHEREAS, The United Methodist Church is desirous of selling their property <br />located at 6602 Wilson Mills Road and adjacent property formerly known as 6590 Wilson <br />Mills Road, located at the southwest corner of the intersection of S.O.M. Center Road and <br />Wilson Mills Road in Mayfield Village; and <br />WHEREAS, the Village is desirous of purchasing same. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Director of Finance are hereby and herein <br />authorized and directed to enter into an agreement for the purchase and sale of real estate <br />from the Mayfield United Methodist Church, pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth <br />in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />SECTION 2. The Director of Finance is authorized to make payments as called for <br />in Exhibit A out of the appropriate funds of the Village. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of <br />this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory <br />requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall become effective upon its adoption by council <br />and signature by the Mayor or as may otherwise be provided by law. <br />~ L <br />WILLIAM M RQU DT <br />Council President <br />
