ORDINANCE NO. 98- 28 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE <br />BUILDING CODE SET FORTH IN <br />CHAPTERS 1321, 1325, AND 1329 <br />WHEREAS, the Building Commissioner has recommended various amendments to <br />Chapters 1321, 1325, and 1329 of the Mayfield Village Building Code, and the Planning <br />Commission of the Village has also concurred in.these proposed amendments; <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council, based upon these recommendations has deemed <br />these amendments to be the best interest of the health, safety, and welfare of all Village <br />residents. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: ~" <br />SECTION 1. That Chapter 1321 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village as <br />presently drafted is repealed in its entirety, and completely amended as follows: <br />CHAPTER 1321 <br />C.A.B.O. ONE AND TWO-FAMILY DWELLING CODE <br />1321.01 ADOPTION; APPLICATION TO ONE, TWO, THREE- FAMILY <br />DWELLINGS. THE C.A.B.O. ONE AND TWO-FAMILY <br />DWELLING HOUSE CODE. <br />The C.A.B.O. One and Two-Family Dwelling Code, current edition, and any <br />subsequent amendments is adopted by Mayfield Village subject to the <br />modifications provided in this Chapter in order to regulate the fabrication, <br />erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, location, and use of <br />detached one, two, and -three-family dwellings, their appurtenances and <br />accessory structures in this jurisdiction. <br />1321.02 FILE COPIES. <br />Copies of the C.A.B.O. One and Two-Family Dwelling Code as adopted in <br />this Chapter are on file with the Building Commissioner for inspection by the <br />Public. <br />
