-U <br />ORDINANCE N0.2017-26 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />FOR PROFESSIONAL PLANNING SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, Mayfield Village desires to enter into an agreement for professional <br />planning services with the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, Mayfield Village desires to work with the Cuyahoga County Planning <br />Commission to conduct a survey in order to obtain valuable information and opinions from <br />Village residents for consideration during the forthcoming master planning process; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council finds and determines that it is appropriate for Mayfield <br />Village to enter into an agreement for professional planning services with Cuyahoga County <br />Planning Commission. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of Mayfield Village, County <br />of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio: <br />SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio hereby authorizes and directs the <br />Mayor and President of Council to enter into an agreement for professional planning services <br />with the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission as set forth in Exhibit "A," which is attached <br />and incorporated herein. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took <br />place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of <br />Mayfield Village. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative <br />
