ORDINANCE NO. 2017-33 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar and Council. as a. Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A NEW LEASE AGREEMENT WITH CHRISTA OLIVO FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONTINUING TO LEASE THE REAL ESTATE LOCATED AT 6536 WILSON MILLS ROAD, MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO 44143. WHEREAS, the Village is the owner of residential real estate located at 6536 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio 44143; and WHEREAS, on November 1, 2010, Mayfield Village entered into a Lease Agreement with Ryan Heidenthal and Christa Oliyo for the residential use of this property, serving as a public necessity and convenience; and WHEREAS, said Lease Agreement with Ryan Heidenthal and Christa Olivo included a monthly rental amount of $550; and . WHEREAS, on May 30, 2017, Ryan Heidenthal and Christa Olivo were advised by certified letter that said monthly rental amount will be increased by 10% to $605 effective November 1, 2017. , In addition, Ryan Heidenthal and Christa Olivo were advised by same certified letter that effective November 1, 2017, they would be :invoiced by Mayfield Village for water consumption and sewer charges. WHEREAS, anew Lease Agreement has been prepared reflecting the changes and further reflecting that Christa Olivo ~ is the only named tenant. Said Agreement will be maintained by. the Director of Finance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BI' THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO THAT: SECTION 1. The Mayor is authorized and directed to enter into such new Lease Agreement between Christa Olivo and the Village of Mayfield pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in the Lease which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit "A". SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that. deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such
