~, <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2017-36 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 1385.02 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES <br />RELATIVE TO PERMIT APPLICATION AND ISSUANCE <br />WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend Codified Ordinance Section 1385.02 relative <br />to permit application and, issuance to reflect current permit procedure; and <br />WHEREAS, Village Council deems it in the best interest of the Village and its residents to <br />amend Codified Ordinance Section 1385.02 as set forth below. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of Mayfield Village, County of <br />Cuyahoga and State of Ohio, that: <br />SECTION 1. That Section 1385.02 ofthe Codified Ordinances ofthe Village ofMayfield is. <br />hereby and herein amended as follows: <br />1385.02 PERMIT APPLICATION AND ISSUANCE. <br />(a) The Building Commissionerro ~e~l~eeter shall provide <br />applications for permits for garage and public sales. Such an application shall <br />include the name of the applicant, who shall be a resident of the Municipality, <br />his address,. telephone number, the nature of the merchandise to be offered for <br />sale, the date of the sale and the hours and duration of the sale. <br />(b) The applicant shall apply for such permit ten days before the date of <br />the sale. The Building Commissioner~c °n•~ ~° T`~~°~*~r may issue such permit <br />seven days before such sale. <br />~~~ <br />SECTION 2. All other provisions of the Village Codified Ordinances not inconsistent <br />herewith shall remain in-full force and effect. <br />SECTION 3. The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br />this Ordinance to the Codifier of Mayfield Village. <br />
