._ ORDINANCE NO. 2016-29 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCEAUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING <br />THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH <br />911 CELLULAR SERVICES, LLC <br />FOR MASS NOTIFICATION SYSTEM SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, 911 Cellular Services, LLC offers a limited license for various safety <br />technologies through its 911 Cellular software products and mass notification system <br />services; and <br />WHEREAS, Village of Mayfield desires to supplement its current CodeRed alert <br />system with 911 Cellular Services, .EEC's software products and mass notification system <br />services; and - <br />WHEREAS, this Council finds and determines that it is appropriate for the <br />Village of Mayfield to enter into a software system license agreement with 911 Cellular <br />Services, LLC for such product and services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of <br />Mayfield, County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio: <br />SECTION 1.The Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio hereby authorizes and directs <br />the Mayor and President of Council to enter into a software system license agreement <br />with 911 Cellular Services, LLC as set forth in the document attached and incorporated <br />by reference as Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2.The Council fmds and determines that all formal actions of the <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of <br />this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public. in compliance with all <br />statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />
