Minutes of Regular Meeting <br />October 212 1959 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in open meeting at the <br />Town Hal.l at 8:00 F. M.' Mayor Endress presidingo <br />Ro1Z Ca11t Present - Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Strater, Broxan, Grootegoed, <br />Hopkins, and Peterson - EngineEr. <br />Absent - None. <br />ThE Mirzutes of the Regul.ar Meeting of September 21, 1959, weere then <br />read to Council. It was moved by Mr. Hopkins., seeonded by Mr. Wedler, that <br />the Minutgs of the Regular Meeting be approved and passed as read. <br />:R011 Call: Ayes= Messrs Zorn,'tnledler,Strater,Braosn,Grootegfled & Hoplrins. <br />Nays - Noneo <br />Motiion carried <br />Minutes approved <br />Mrs. Brown, repor-ting for the Ax°chitectural Board, said that they <br />had approvefl plans for 8 houses and 4 additions, Mrs. Brourn then spoke of a <br />litt3e difficulty, as the Board had to turn down- tuo sets of plans beeause <br />of the monotonous similarity of the pZans to other houses in the developmerit. <br />Mr. Wieland:said that these people had agreed to vary the front5 and go along <br />with the Board on this matter. Mr. Peterson sa-id that he thought the Board <br />was justified in this decision, which had been npheld in other communities-. <br />Mr. Hopksns, repor•ting for the Building Comnittee, took up the Pearl <br />itoad Tile Company bi31, wh3.ch was bigger than their-estimate. Mr. Hopkins <br />said that he had 9topped in to see these people and found that the ti].e <br />installed was more than their e5timate based on MrA Wieland9s measurements <br />anfl, if this was so' he thought the bill should be paida <br />The Safety and Service Committee nad nothing to x°eport. <br />The P'lanning and Zoning ComQnission had nothing to report. <br />Mr. Edelman then discussed the proposed Revision of the Zoning Ordinance <br />and said that-he had been unabla to get in toueh with Mr. Reed in regard to <br />a change in the txse classification. Mr. Edelman sa3d that he wou:Ld tr,y again <br />and have this matter ready for the next Counei7L meeting. <br />Mr. Wed7.er, reporting for the Finance Committeeq said that they had a <br />meeting and had gone over the payroll of the Village. <br />Mayor Endress then appo3nted Mrs. Sally Herzbrun of 3346 KersdaleRoad9 <br />Pepper Pike9 Oh;.oy as C1erk of Mayoros Court. This appo7ntment is effective <br />October 20, 1959. - <br />1.
