? <br />Minutes of thia Regular Meeting <br />August 21, 1961 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayf iield met in regular meeting at the <br />Town Hall at 8:00 P. M., Mayor Endress presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present - Messrs Zorn, Wiedler, Bennett, Brown, Grootegoed <br />and Belzer, also Mr. Peterson. • <br />Absent - None. - <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 17,- 1961, were then read to <br />the Co.uncil. It was moved by Mrs. Brown, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that the <br />Minutes of the regular meeting be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />Nays - None, <br />Motion carried <br />Minutes approved <br />Mayor Endress then said that at ou-r last meeting we had passed a resolution to take bids for water in the Worton Park area and asked our Engineer <br />f or a report. Mr. Peterson reported that he had received two bids on this <br />project, one from the N. M. Lupo Construction Co. f or $62,800.00 and one from <br />the Angelo Nlarra Construction Co, for $87,963.25. Mr. Peterson said that the <br />N. M. Lupo Company was an old reliable company and had done business in our <br />Village in the past. <br />Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mrs. Brown, then introduced ardinance No. 744 <br />entitled: "An Ordinanee Authorizing the Mayor and the Clerk of the Village <br />of Mayfield to Enter Into a Contract With NI. 11. Lupo Construction Company <br />fo.r the Construction of Water Mains in Worton Park Drive, Wood];ane Drive, <br />North Woodlane Drive, South Woodlane Drive and Norman Lane Drive when Funds <br />are Available or in the Process of Collection", which Ordinance was read to <br />COl2t1C11. <br />It was moved by Mrso Brown, seconded by NIr. Belzer, that the rules of <br />law requiring an ordinance to be read on ttiree separate occasions be suspendede <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedle:r,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />.
