Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />November 21, 1966 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at the <br />Town Hall at 8:00 P. M., Mayor Bennett presiding. <br />Roll Call; Pzesent - rlayor Bennett, Messrs Shaw, Busa, Wallcer, Mason, <br />Sloan and Davis. <br />Absent - None <br />Mayor Bennett welcomed the students from the Junior High School. <br />Mr. Shacv, seconded by Mr. Busa, moved that the minutes. be approved as <br />corrected to read on page 7, "bolt" instead of "both.". <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan, and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />? Minutes Approved <br />Building Committee - Mr. Davis. " <br />Still waiting f or a part to install the automatic door. <br />Have contacted a contractor for Christmas lighting of the Village Hall <br />and Service Building. Will be done by the 15th. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Sloan. <br />Thornapple will be black-topped. Nir. Foltz will help decorate the Village <br />Hall. Mr. Wallcer wi11 work with the Service Department for the next three months. <br />The Field Truck will be sold after the new truck is purchased. <br />The Committee recommends that the necessary legislation be drawtt up to <br />notify the remaining landoioners on Ridgebury who have not put in their sidewalks. <br />Mr. D4ason will work with the Fire Department. <br />Streets and Roads - D3r. Sloan. <br />Nir. Davis, seconded by Mr. Shaw, introduced an informal resolution <br />entering into a contract of installation of two bulk heads and one overflow <br />pipe at a cost not to esceed a, cost of $526.00. <br />Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Busa, moved that the rules of -law requiring a <br />resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />1.
