MEETINC <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at the Village Hall <br />on 'Monday, December 18, 1967, at 8;00 P. i1., riayor Bennett presiding. <br />P.oll Call.: Present -- Mayor Bennett, Messr.s. Sloan, Busa, jti7alker, Mason, Schmidt, <br />and Davis. <br />Absent -• None:' <br />tfr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Walker, moved that the Minutes of the meeting of <br />November 20q 1967, be accepted as mailed. <br />Roll Calln Ayes - ASessrso Sloan, Busa, Walker, Sciimidt, and Davis. <br />Nays - hone. <br />P•'[btion Carried <br />Minutes Accepted <br />Building Committee - Nir. Davis <br />Tl:e basement nas been painted. <br />P'[r. Davis thanked the members of the Community Club for decorating the Village <br />Fiall. A Thank Xou letter will be sent to them. <br />Safe? ancl Service - Mr. Sl.aan a No m.eeting. <br />Streets and Roads -- Mr. Sloan <br />Al1 streets are clear of, snow. <br />The "dog legs" on Hickory Hi11 are in. <br />Hickory Hill is still covered with mud. Chief Shartle stated that the Nud <br />Ordinance needs reviewing, because according to the present ordinance5 you have <br />to be on the scene when the mud is put down. This is not always possiUle. <br />P•Tayor Bennett asked that the Mud Ordinance Ue reviewed, so that the contractor <br />woulci he responsible for the mud, not the patrolman. <br />Architectural Board - ivlr. Busa <br />Mr. }3usa reported that dollars to date for 1967 were $1,964,900.00, almost two <br />million dollars. <br />taelfare and Recreation -- Mr. Gdallcer <br />The Skating Ponds are filled with water. <br />Planning and 2onip& - NIr.
