<br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />November 18, 1963 <br />The Council of the Village of riayfield met in regular meeting at <br />the Town Ha.ll at 8:00 P. M., Mayor Endress presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer, <br />Absent t Noneo <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 21, 1963, were then read <br />to Council. It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Mason, that the Minutes <br />o£ the regular meeting be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mr. Peterson then reported to Council that he had received seven bids <br />£or the construction of a Sanitary Sewer on Lander Road. These bids ranged <br />all the way from $134,960.00 to a low of $51,476.25 bid by the National <br />Construction Company. The Engineer's Estimate for this job was $95,490.00. <br />Mr. Peterson said that the National Construction Company was reliable and <br />that he recommended that the bid be awarded to this company for their bid of <br />$51,476.25. Mr. Edelman said that we should now have an ordinance accepting <br />the bid and awarding the contract whenever money is available. <br />Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Shaw, then introduced Ordittance No. 822 <br />entitled; "An Ordinance Authosizing the Mayor and the Clerk of the Village <br />of Mayf ield to Enter Into a Contract With The National Construction Company <br />for the'Construction of a Sanitary Sewer With Curb Connections attd-Appur- <br />tenances in Lander Road When Funds are Available or in the Process of <br />Collection", which ordinance was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mro Wedler, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that the rules of <br />law requirittg an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett,Shaw, Mason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Ruies Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mre Sloan9 that Ordinance No. <br />822?be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Wedler,Bennett,Shaw,Nlason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />1.
