~~- <br />MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING <br />Village of Hayfield Village <br />March 8, 1977 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in Special session at the <br />Village Hall on Tuesday, March 8, 1977 at 7:30 P.M., pursuant to special <br />meeting notices delivered to all Councilmen on March 4, 1977. Council <br />president, Robert Grogan presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mayor Beebe, Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Busa, <br />Flynn, Grogan and Schulte <br />Absent Mr. Bordonaro <br />Also present were: Messrs., Amendola, Hovancsek, Morrison and Relic <br />Mr. Grogan stated that this meeting caas called for the purpose of dis- <br />cussing the purchase of two new police cars. <br />Resolution 977, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR THE INVITATION FOR TENDER OF BIDS FOR TWO POLICE MOTOR <br />VEHICLES", was introduced by Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Barclay, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to ~do~t Res. 977. <br />Roll Call: AYE5: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Busa, Flynn, Grogan and <br />Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Mr. Grogan reported that the following bids had been received on <br />February 28, 1977 for the obsolete radio equipment owned by the Village: <br />James Robertson - $50.99 for the tower <br />Paul Maynard - $325.00 for the complete list <br />Ashland Ag Center - $410.00 for the entire list <br />After discussion, Mr. Barclay, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion <br />to accept the bid of Dennis Fox, Ashland Ag Center for $410.00 with the <br />stipulation that the crystals be removed and that the equipment is picked <br />up within two weeks. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Flynn, Grogan and Schulte <br />NAY5: None <br />ABSTAIN: rlr. Busa <br />Motion Carried <br />Mr. Relic distributed copies of the Appropriation Ordinance for 1977 <br />for Council to review. It must be filed by March 21, 1977 caith the <br />County Auditor. Discussion will be held at Caucus next Monday night. <br />
