/ MINUTE5 OF THE REGULAR MEETING Village vf Mayfield Jano 17, 1972 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regu].ax session at Mayfield Village Hall on Monday, Januazy 17, 1972 at 8:00 PoM., Mayor Robert G. Beebey presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was giveno Roll Call: Present: Mayor Beebe, Messrso Boger, Bordonaro, Braun, Davis and Schmidt. Absent: Mro Leech (arrived later) Also present were Messrs. D'Agostino, Edelman, Hovancsek, ReliC, Chiefs Hejcl and ShortZe. Mayor Beebe prefaced the meeting with suggestions for increas- ing the attendance and establishing better communications with our peopleo Each councilman's wife will be asked to take a tutxn serving coffee after each council meetingo A medium pr3ced P.A. System will be brought in and set up on a trial basis to try to improve the acousticso A forty-five minute open session for villagers will be held at 8:00 P.M. on Lhe Wednesday night precedxng the Monday night council meeting. A new5letter knawn as the "Voice of the Village", will be published quarterlyo This will contain renditiflns of the minutes, photographs, art- icles pertaining to departments of the vilZage and othez pertin- ent information. Mre Davis, seconded by Mro Boger, mrnred that the miri,ut,es of the Deco 20, 1971 Meeting be accepted as written. Roll Gall: AYES: Messrso Boger, Bordonaro, Braun, Davis and Schmidto NAYS: None. Motion Carried Minutes Approved Mr. Boger wished to make a correction on page 4 of the minutes of the Special Meeting held Jano 2, 1972. Norma Schmicit was appointed a member of the Recreation Committee instead of Char].otte Bogero Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Boger, mOVed that the minutes of the Jano 2, 1972 Meeting be accepted as corrected.
