MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING. <br />VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD <br />AUGUST 19, 1968 <br />The Council of the Village of Dayfield met in regular session at the Village Ha].1 on <br />Monday, August 19, 1968, at 8:10 p.m., Mayor Busa presiding. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Ro11 Call: Present - Mayor Busa, Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, <br />Schmidt and Davis. <br />Absent -None. <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Schmidt,, moved that the minutes of the July 15, 1968 meet- <br />ing be. accepted as written. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Minutes Accepted. <br />Old Business• <br />The shop owners at the shopping mall have gotten involved. and are cleaning the side- <br />walks every two days. Mr. Edelman has been given a copy of the lease. to review. <br />The case concerning the allocation of 1968 local government funds is scheduled to come <br />before the. Supreme Court of Ohio, August 27, 1968. <br />The Council has ordered microphones for the Council table. <br />Fire truck no. 1 will be disposed of when fire truck no. 2 is repaired. <br />We have not received a report from the Ohio Inspection Bureau. <br />The specifications for insurance bids are ready for typing. Mr. Fitz-Gerald, seconded <br />by Mr. Comella, made a motion that we advertise for insurance bids for the Village. <br />Ro11 Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried. <br />The cul-d-sacs on Hickory Hill are ready for starting. <br />Mr. Steak House Restaurant expects to break ground in ten days. <br />There will be a meeting concerning the location of Route I-290 on Wednesday, August <br />21, at 8:00 p.m., at Mayfield Heights City Hall. The Mayors, Solicitors, Engineers <br />and Council President Pro Tem of the nine suburbs are expected to be present, <br />
