MINUTES OF THE REGULAR 1~IEETTNG <br />VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD <br />September. l6, 1968 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at the Village Hall <br />on Monday, September 16; 1968, at 8:10 p.m., Mayor Busa presiding. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given, <br />Roll Call: Present - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson,Schmidt and Davis. <br />Absent -None. <br />I~Ir. Comella, seconded by idr. Davis, moved that the Minutes of the August 19, 1968, <br />meeting be accepted as written. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Minutes Accepted. <br />Old Business• <br />Mr. Edelman should have a report irk a few days on the 60% of the local government <br />funds to be released. <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Schmidt, introduced a Resolution to dispose of fire <br />truck number one, minus certain equipment, to Carl Puline, said truck being of <br />a value of less than $1,000.00, and not needed by the Village. <br />Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that the rules of law requiring a Resolution <br />to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - riessrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt, Davis. <br />Nays - None. ~' <br />Motion Carried. <br />Rules Suspended. <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, moved that the Resolution to dispose of <br />fire truck number one to Carl Puline, be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt, Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Resolution Passed. <br />The insurance bids for the Village were opened at noon on Saturday, September 14, <br />1968. Bids were received from Nationwide, Buckeye Union, Allstate and The James <br />and Manchester Company. The James and Manchester Company was the lowest and best <br />bid that complied with the specifications. <br />Nir. Davis, seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, introduced Ordinance No. 1075, entitled: <br />"AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF THE JAi~iES AND MANCHESTER COMPANY FOR COMPREHENSIVE <br />GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE AND PHYSICAL DAMAGE ON VILLAGE-OWNED VEHICLES." <br />
