MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING Village of Mayfield June 16, lg6g The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at the Village Hall on Monday June 16, lg6g at 8;00 Rohe, Mayor Busa, presidingo The Pledge of Allegiance.to the Flag was giveno Roll Calla Present - Mayor Busa9 Messrso Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldosn, Schmidt and Davisa Mro Schmidt, seconded by Mro Davis, moved that the minutes of the May lg, lg6g meeting be corrected to read, on page 8,"Ordinance Noo 6g-2g be referred to Planning and Zoningo " Roll Calla Ayes - Messrso Comella, Fitz-Gerald9 Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt and Daviso Motion Carried Minutes Accepted Old Businessa Mrso Maynard attended the tax meeting on June 11, 1869 and reported that Mr, Corsi hopes to have the records ready for checking by August 1969° The Texaco case is now pending in the Eourt of Appealso It could be three or four months before a decision is giveno The Standard Oil Company has filed to advance their case for trialo Mro Donaldson reported that the Sesquicentennial celebration was a success, except for the raino The Finance Committee will have a report in a week or twoo Mro Donaldson thanked Mrso Boger for the work that she had done in planning the parade and apologized for omitting her name from the programo Mro Comella thanked Mro Boger and his brother-i:i~-1,aw for the "Cock-N-Bull" Saloono Four hundred and forty plates 'were served at the cake cuttingo Mayor Busa asked that the committee chairman prepare a list of their committees so that each person may be personally thanked for their work on the Sesqui- Centennialo Mayor Busa thanked Mro Donaldson fora mission well accomplishedo Mro Donaldson asked permission from the_Council to form a Historical Societyo He explained that the president of the School Board had thought that it might be possible to lease the Old Brick~School Building for such purposese Council asked that a clarification be obtained from the school board and that the building be checked by our Police and Fire,Departmen~so The Council also asked that the " Historical Society" hold ;an organizational meeting and present their slate to Councilo The Police Chief reported that the new Deputy Clerk is working out fined Schedule for her Pay Ordinance will be discussed.at the Safety and Service meetingo
