67 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Village of Mayf ield <br />May 16, 1983 <br />The Council of the Village of Ma.yfield met in Regular Session on Monday, May <br />16, 1983 at 8:15 p.m. in the Village Hall. Council President, Vince J. Busa, <br />presided. <br />Roll Call.: Present: Messrs., Busa, Carmen, Etzler, Flynn, Spellman, Mrs. <br />Bloom, and Mrs. Hanus <br />Absent : None <br />Also Present Were . Mayor Beebe, Messrs., Amendola, Feneli, Hovancsek, Toth, <br />Chief Hejcl, and Chief Stevens <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />There were no comments. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Regular Meeting of Council - April 18, 1983 - Mr. Spellman, seconded by Mr. <br />Flynn, made a motion to accept the minutes as written. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Accepted <br />MAYOR`S COMMENTS <br />Mayor Beebe stated there will be an Open Hearing this Thursday, May 19, 1983 <br />at 10:00 a.m. here in the Council Chambers. He will preside at this hearing. <br />The subject will be regarding the tragic incident that occurred May 6. <br />COUNCIL PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS <br />Mr. Busa had no comments. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Safety & Service - Mr. Spellman reported a meeting was held Thursday but there <br />was not a quorum. He and Chief Hejcl discussed the Hillcrest area dispatch system.
