. ? <br />MINUTES OF A PUBLIC HEARING OF COUNCII, <br />Mayfield Village <br />January 8, 1990 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monda.y, January 8, 1990, at 8:45 p.m. <br />in the Council Chambers at the Mayfield Village Hall: Council President Patsy Mills presided. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, <br />Mr. Pietrafese, and Mr. Rinker <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present Were: Mayor Carmen, Mr. Amendola, Chief Mohr, Mr. Patrick, Mr. Ramos, <br />Chief Stevens, and Miss Heath <br />Mrs. Mills said the Public Hearing was called regarding Ordinance No. 89-42 and asked Mr. <br />Ramos to explain it. <br />Mr. Ramos explained that according to a Charter requirement, anytime the Planning and Zoning <br />code is amended, an ordinance must be given three public readings, and a public hearing must be <br />held. If the ordinance is passed by Council it will be placed on the ballot. <br />Mr. Ramos explained the changes in the square footage as required by our present code. This <br />issue would change the square footage required for a two-family dwelling from 20,000 to 30,000; <br />and for an apartment suite from 2,500 to 8,500. Mr. Ramos stated that this issue will be placed on <br />the ballot in May. <br />Mr. Ramos asked if anyone had any questions. <br />Mrs. Mills asked if there were any comments from the audience. <br />There were no comments. <br />Mrs. Mills said that the Public Hearing was closed. <br />The Public Hearing adjourned at 8:55 p.m. <br />
