<br />MINUTES OF TBE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCII. <br />Mayfield Village <br />July 16, 1990 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, July 16, 1990, at 8 o'clock <br />p.m. (8 p.m.) in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. Council President Patsy Mills <br />presided. <br />Roll Ca11: Present: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, Mr. Pietrafese, <br />and Mr. Rinker <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present Were: Mayor Carmen, Mr. Amendola, Mr. Hovancsek, Mr. Patrick, Lt. Jay (part of <br />meeting), Mr. Ramos, Chief Mohr, Chief Stevens, and Miss Heath <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />There were no comments. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Regular Council Meeting - June 18, 1990 - Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to <br />approve the minutes. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carriecl <br />Minutes Approved <br />Special Council Meeting - June 27, 1990 - Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion <br />to approve the minutes. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Appmved <br />COMIlVIENTS FROM MAYOR CAR1VfEN <br />Mayor Carmen said that the news bulletin from Aintree North looks great. <br />Mayor Carmen asked Lt. Jay and Chief Stevens to present the safety awards. (Listed under "Old <br />Business".) <br />Chief Stevens said that the Police Department would like to honor two motorists who were "Saved <br />by the Belt" and another motorist who was "Saved by the Helmet." He asked Mrs. Patricia <br />Featherstun to explain how she was "saved by the belt" and to accept the award. <br />Mrs. Featherstun accepted awards for herself and her 16-year-old son Lonie who could not be <br />present this evening. She described the accident and expressed appreciarion for the awards.
