She said she felt she had been patient long
enough and would appreciate an answer one way or another.
Mr. Ramos said that he had answered her original letter. Following his
. reply she had written a note to Council asking for their
reconsideration. Mr. Ramos said that Council had discussed her letter
and that it msy have been an oversite that no.one responded to her
letter to Council telling her of Council's decision.
Mr. Basile said that Council's decision was the same as Mr. Ramos's.
He explained how a similar situation would be handled in industry, that
' retroactive compensation would not be given.
Mrs. Minor said that there were three items to be addressed in the
second letter. She said that she had received a corrected copy of
the resolution but it was without a letter of explanation.
Mr. Ramos said if Mrs. Minor needs further explanation he would be
happy to write a letter to further explain the position of Council and
would be happy to answer her letter of May if that would help.
Chief Stevens arrived at this time. (8:08 p.m.)
Mrs. Minor said that the letter she received from Mr. Ramos indicated
? that it was Council's decision and he said that her request was for
service not rendered so that was why she posed the question to Council.
Discussion was held.
