19' <br />r <br />MINUTES OF A COUNCIL BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING <br />Mayfield Village <br />March 17, 1980 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in special session <br />as a Board of Appeals on Monday, March 17, 1980 at 7:30 P.M. <br />in the Village Hall. Council President, Alan Bennett presided. <br />Members Present: Messrs.., Bennett, Flynn, Miss Trask and Mrs. Hanus <br />Absent: Messrs., Boger,::Carmen, Spellman <br />Also Present were: Mayor Beebe, Gus Amendola and Dale Feneli <br />Mr. Bennett stated the purpose of the meeting was to consider a <br />variance request of Mr. Julius Paris. <br />Mr. Feneli stated the variance request has the recommendation of <br />the Planning and Zoning Commission and asked Mr. Paris to explain <br />his request. <br />Mr. Paris clarified that instead of building the two story structure <br />he had approved previously, they would like to eliminate the second <br />floor which would decrease the total square footage by 11,000 square <br />feet. This, then, would require less parking space and he would still <br />maintain the 30/,.required landscaping. The code stipulates no more <br />than 20/ ground coverage in buildings, he needs 21.9 which will re- <br />quire a 1.9~-variance. <br />Mr. Bennett stated the new plans has the recommendation of the Engineer <br />and Building Commissioner. <br />Mr. Feneli commented the Police and Fire Departments had expressed <br />concern re traffic hazzards created by the original plans but the <br />revised plans meet with their approval. <br />Mrs. Hanus, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to approve the Final <br />Developement Plans of the Paris' Office Complex and granting a 1.9/ Bldg.' <br />ground coverage variance. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carr~d <br />Approval Given <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Miss Trask, made the motion to adjourn. <br />There being no objections, the meeting adjourned at 8:45 P.M. <br />
