Council <br />President, Alan G. Bennett, presided. . <br />T1ie.Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given.. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Bennett, Busa, Carmen, Flynn, <br />Spellman, Mrs. Hanus and Miss Trask <br />Absent : None <br />Also Preserit Were . Mayor Beebe, Messrs., Amendola, Feneli, <br />Hovancsek, Chief Hejcl, Chief Stevens,_ <br />and Eloise Ma,y..nard . <br />Mayor Beebe r,equested that before beginning-the.agenda, that ° <br />everyone take a moment`of silent prayer for the two deaths that <br />occurred this weekend. He stated that Judy Boyd, secretary to - <br />Mr. Avery of the Law Department had died Sunday; and the father <br />of Ptl. Doug Sullivan had died Saturday. <br />OPEN PORTION Miss Alisa Bitoom, 742 Butternut Drive, requested that a"Caution - <br />Children at Play" sign be placed at the entrance to Sandalwood <br />due to the number of children in this area. •- <br />Mr. Amendola to see that the sign'is installed. , <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES _ <br />Reqular Meetina of Council - April 20, 1981_- Mr. Bennett stated <br />tYiWt tW3 minutes had been corrected and there being no objections, <br />the minutes stand as corrected. .. <br />Special Meetinct of Council - April 27, 1981- Mr. Bennett stated <br />that the minutes had been corrected and there being no objections, <br />the minutes stand as corrected. <br />
