MINUTES OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village Civic Hall <br />Monday, January 5, 2009 -7:00 p.m. <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in special session on Monday, January 5, 2009 at <br />seven o'clock (7:00) p.m. at Mayfield Village Civic Hall. Mayor Rinker called the meeting to <br />order and asked for a roll call. <br />ROLL CALL: Mr. Buckholtz <br />Mrs. Cinco <br />Mr. Marquardt <br />Mrs. Mills <br />Mr. Marrie <br />Dr. Parker <br />Mr. Saponaro (7:15 p.m.) <br />ABSENT:. None <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Miller, Chief Dearden, Ms. Calta, <br />Mr. Cappello, Mr. Marrelli, Mr. Metzung, Chief Mohr, <br />Mr. Thomas, Mrs. Kalina and Mrs. Betsa <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />? <br />Mayor Rinker stated it was his distinct pleasure to once a year convene this meeting. <br />• Election of President of Council <br />Mayor Rinker opened up the floor for nominations for Council President. <br />Mrs. Mills nominated Bill Buckholtz for Council President. Dr. Parker seconded the <br />nomination. <br />Mayor Rinker asked if there were any other nominations. There were none. <br />Mayor Rinlcer asked if there was any discussion. There was none. <br />Mayor Rinker closed the nominations upon motion. Dr. Parker made a motion to close <br />the nominations.
