RESOLUTION NO. 2022-34 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />TO ENTER INTO A SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH <br />MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS <br />FOR SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE OF DISPATCH EQUIPMENT <br />IN THE MAYFIELD VILLAGE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />AND TO AUTHORIZE AN EXPENDITURE IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $33,954.83 <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to maintain and support the dispatch equipment in the Mayfield <br />Village Police Department in order to provide for the efficient and effective operation of the Police <br />Department; and <br />WHEREAS, Mayfield Village desires to enter into a Service Agreement with Motorola <br />Solutions to provide such maintenance and support services for the dispatch equipment in the <br />Ic Mayfield Village Police Department; and <br />WHEREAS, Mayfield Village has found and determined it to be in the best interest of the <br />health, safety and welfare of its residents to provide for the maintenance and support of the <br />Mayfield Village Police Department dispatch equipment by entering into a Service Agreement <br />with Motorola Solutions, as set forth below. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor and President of Council are authorized and directed to enter <br />into a Service Agreement with Motorola Solutions for the period commencing January 1, 2022 <br />and concluding December 31, 2022, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as <br />Exhibit "A." <br />SECTION 2. The Council of Mayfield Village further authorizes an expenditure in the <br />amount of $33,954.83 for the 2022 Contract with Motorola Solutions. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of the Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place <br />in meetings open to the public in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />rr. requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />
