RESOLUTION NO.2025-15 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO ENTER INTO A SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS FOR SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE OF DISPATCH EQUIPMENT IN THE MAYFIELD VILLAGE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND TO AUTHORIZE AN EXPENDITURE IN THE AMOUNT OF $45,580.40 WHEREAS, it is necessary to maintain and support dispatch equipment in the Mayfield Village Police Department in order to provide for the efficient and effective operation of the Department; and WHEREAS, Mayfield Village entered into a Service Agreement with Motorola Solutions to provide maintenance and support services for dispatch equipment in the Mayfield Village Police Department in 2023; and WHEREAS, Mayfield Village desires to enter into a new Service Agreement with Motorola Solutions to provide such maintenance and support services for dispatch equipment in the Mayfield Village Police Department beginning in 2025; and WHEREAS, Mayfield Village has found and determined it to be in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of its residents to provide for the maintenance and support of the Mayfield Village Police Department dispatch equipment by entering into a Service Agreement with Motorola Solutions, as set forth below. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, THAT: SECTION 1. The Mayor and President of Council are authorized and directed to enter into a Service Agreement with Motorola Solutions for the period commencing January 1, 2025 and concluding December 31, 2025, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit "A", for the maintenance and support of dispatch equipment in the Police Department. SECTION 2. The Council of Mayfield Village further authorizes an expenditure in the amount of $45,580.40 for the services to be provided by Motorola Solutions for the period set forth in Section 1.
