RESOLUTION NO.2025-37 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bodnar <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING MAYFIELD VILLAGE TO ENTER INTO <br />A ONE-YEAR SERVICE AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH <br />R&D HEATING AND SHEET METAL CO., INC. FOR THE HVAC SYSTEMS <br />IN ALL VILLAGE FACILITIES IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,805.00 <br />WHEREAS, it has been deemed in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of all <br />Village residents and inhabitants to enter into an agreement for the service and routine maintenance <br />of the heating and cooling systems in the Civic Center, Community Room, Fire Station, Police <br />Station, Parkview Pool, Service Garage and Old State Yard, to preserve the integrity of these <br />Village assets; and <br />WHEREAS, three proposals for HVAC service and maintenance were received and R&D <br />Heating and Sheet Metal Co., Inc's proposal in the amount of Twenty -Three Thousand Eight <br />Hundred and Five and 00/100 dollars ($23,805.00) was the lowest and best received; and <br />WHEREAS, the Service Director has reviewed all proposals received and recommends <br />that Mayfield Village enter into a Service and Routine Maintenance Agreement with R&D Heating <br />and Sheet Metal Co., Inc. for a one-year term commencing August 1, 2025 through July 31, 2026. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village hereby accepts and approves the proposal <br />of R&D Heating and Sheet Metal Co., Inc., to provide one-year of service and routine maintenance <br />of the HVAC systems in the aforementioned Village facilities in an amount not to exceed <br />$23,805.00. <br />SECTION 2. The Council of Mayfield Village does hereby direct the Mayor and <br />President of Council to enter into a one-year Service and Routine Maintenance Agreement with <br />R&D Heating and Sheet Metal Co., Inc. effective August 1, 2025. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place <br />in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of health, safety and welfare of the residents of <br />
