Thomas moved that the
Commission submit that letter to Mayor Petrigac,Council and any other meinber
of the City administration who would be interested, seconded by E. Traczyk,
and unar_imously approved.
Assistant Law Director Dubelko stated that perhaps the City should rezone the
rear portion of the Waghray property so that there will be no split zoning
on the property. Mr. Morgan would prefer to study all lots that contain
split zoning.
Regarding the Sunrise Development Plat which was withdrawn from this agenda,
PZr. Bo_yer explained that the City is in the process of getting all legislation
in order for the Industrial Park so that construction can be started by July lst.
This necessitates certain legislation being passed by Council and the Commission.
The Mayor and Service Director have requested that Planning Commission meet
on June 8th to review the plat of the Industrial Park in order to make recom-
mendations. to Council, who will be meeting on June 9th. Mr. Gorris and Mr.
Thomas are concerned because it would appear that they would be starting
construction before the water line is completed. Mr. Boyer explained that
the construction of the improvements would be s.tarted, not the buildings.and
that occupancy certificates would be withheld for the Industrial Park con-
ditioned upon the connection of the Crown Sprague water line and the Cook
Road water line. It was decided that the Commission would prefer to.meet on
Truesday, June 7th at 7:00 p.m. and notices will be sent. The Commission
will also discuss Section 1126 of the Zoning Code at the special meeting.
IX. ADJOURNMENT :
The meeting was adj ourned at 12 : 35 p, m.
T: Mo"rgan, Ch?:rrman .
