ROLL CALL: <br />Vice Chairman Thomas called the meeting to order at 8:40 p.m. <br />Present: M. Betts, R. Bierman, R. Bowen, B. Gorris, J. Thomas, and E. Traczyk <br />Absent: T. Morgan <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Building Commissioner D. <br />Conway, Consulting City Engineer T. Boyer, and Clerk of <br />Commissions B. Oring. <br />II. REVIE[d AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />The minutes of July 26, 1988 were deferred until the next regularly scheduled <br />meeting. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />No items. <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />No items. <br />V. CONQ4TJNICATIONS: <br />No items <br />VI. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />No items <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS: <br />No items. <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Ord: 88-75 - An Ordinance Creating New Ch?Lpter 1141 of the North Olmsted <br />Zoning Code, Entitled "Office Building District." <br />Vice Chairman Thomas advised that Councilman Tallon requested that the Com- <br />mission meet to discuss certain suggested amendments to the proposed ordinance. <br />In reference to Section ,1141.06 which the Commission recommended that fo.r each <br />foot of height of a building there must be 5 feet of set back where the <br />property abuts residential property; thus a fifty foot high building on pro- <br />perty abutting residential property to the rear would require a 250 foot rear <br />yard. He stated that the,largest set back required in the existing codes <br />is 100 feet regardless of the height of the building and it is his belief
