After some discussion the NOLC decided to have a representative <br />= committee meet with the mayor in order to di.scuss: '1) What the future uses of Old Town Hall are to be; <br />2) What restrictions would be placed, upon-any.remodeling <br />of Old Town Hall ; <br />3) What type of financial help could the.city provide,. <br />, for future restoration.;: & •, , , ?, 4) Obtaining guarantees from City Hall,, such as'use <br />of funds raised for restoration purposes and future uses <br />of the Old Town Hall facilities. . . , , <br />After these issues are "ironed out" the practicality of <br />such a"Friends" organization will be further discussed. <br />NEW BUSINE5S ", . <br />Dover Playhouse: , <br />The Dover Playhouse has requested the use of,Old Town <br />Hall for one of their plays. The Dover Playhouse group <br />has expressed a desire to paint he interior of the the Old <br />Town Hall. The Dover Playhouse group has made some minor <br />changes in the stage area of Old Town Hall. The NOLC made <br />an in person observation of the "Holes' in the stage walls <br />and observed the current status of the interior paint. <br />It was generally decided that the "holes' were not of any <br />serious consequence to the integrity of Old Town Hall. <br />It was.also generally.,agreed upon tYiat any painting of the <br />interior would do more good than harm, howev.er the color <br />of the paint should be either white or some shade of off- 'white. Lois Van P,uken was going to contact the Playhouse <br />group and inform them of our decision. <br />
