BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS SEPTEMBER 7, 1988 PAGE 2
has problems with the height, and asked if he would compromise to 15 feet. '
Mr. McFadden stated this would eliminate the gambrel roof which is more
attractive. Mr. Bugala agrees that structure is too high. Mr. Jones and
Mr. Spicer have no objections and believe this structure will be an improve-
ment. Mr.
McFadden stated that it will,be 158 feet from the rear property line. Mr.
Grace believes this will be an improvement since a delapidated building will
be replaced. B. Violation of Ord.
87-93, Section 116306(d).
Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was
administered to Mr, Smith, Bob Cutler Signs, who explained that they are merely
replacing the faces below.the Color Tile sign. Mr. Conway explained that the
70 square foot variance was for the pole sign and the variance for total square
footage included all signs. Mr. Gomersall believes that this is too much
signage. Mr. Remmel pointed out that the sign was existing and Mr. Grace
stated that replacing the faces would look better than the half empty sign.
C.
