Mr. Glueck stated that the lighted beams are part of_ their imape,
and they are on most of their buildings, including the existing building
in North Olmsted. B. Gorris moved to approve the site plan for the
McDonald's Restaurant at 27322 Lorain Road as indicated on the plan signed
by Mr. Morgan subject to the following: 1) in the entrance drive, the
first spaces on either side of that drive are to be eliminated and to be
made g,reen, this condition is based on the Safety Department's report
of January 13, 1989 which cited 1 parking space as a hazard and it is the
Commission's belief that neither of these spaces are feasible parking
spaces, and also, in order that this plan still confor-r.i to code, two
parallel spaces will be provided within what is now a landscaped area on
the eastern side of the property immediately beyond the first bank of
spaces to the right, these landbanked parking spaces iaill be indicated on
this drawing; 2) it is the Commission's desire that the structural beams
on the roof, not be illuminated; 3) that the existing pole sign be re-
moved and replaced with a ground sign at a location at the discretion of
the developer, seconded by J. Thomas. Roll call on motion: Gorris,
Bierman, Bowen, and Morgan, yes. Mr. Thomas, no. Motion carried.
4) Plus Sizes, 26005 Great Northern Shonping Center #12
Proposal to renovate front of unit.
Heard by Architectural Board of Review January 18, 1989.
Mr. Morgan advised that the Architectural Board of Review had accepted
the proposal as presented, and that originally the developers were
request approval of this plan as a criteria for all future renovations.
Since the Commission did not believe that there was enough information
furnished as this time, the request is now for approval of one unit.
R. Bierman moved to approve the proposal to renovate front of unit at
26005 Great Northern Shopping Center #12, Plus Sizes, seconded by R.
Bowen, and unanimously approved.
5) Great Northern Retail Campus, 4970 Great Northern riall
Retail campus signage proposal.
