The entrance has been moved to the side of the <br />vestibule instead of the middle. The sign wil`1 be exactly the same as <br />approved and there have been no changes to the site plan or landscaping. <br />It was clairified that the window frames would be clear anodized aluminium. <br />B. Zergott moved to accept the changes as presented,, seconded by T. <br />Gallagher, and unanimously approved. <br />3) Great Northern Dodge, 26100 Lorain Road <br />Proposal to construct addition to body shop. <br />Referred by Planning Commission July 11, 1989. <br />Mr. Rusak, C. T. Taylor Company, presented the plans for the 1,300 <br />square foot metal addition which will match the existing beige metal on <br />the existing body shop. He advised that there would be no new mechanical <br />equipment on the roof. Mr. Gallagher pointed out that the building would <br />be hidden from Lorain P.oad. There will be "body shop" signs on two <br />elevations. Mr. Sohn stated that there was not much the board could do <br />since it is to match the existing. B. Zergott moved to accept the pro- <br />posal as presented, seconded by Y. Sohn, and unanimously approved. <br />4) Metro Lexus Dealership, on the north side of Lorain P.oad (one present <br />address is 28436). <br />Proposal to construct autobobile dealership. <br />Referred by Planning Commission July 1.1, 1989. <br />Mr. Cornacione, architect, and Mr. Stoyanov, developer, presented colorPd <br />rendering explaining that their prototype building is mainly a white <br />split face concrete block, the facia will be a light gray dryvit with <br />a fluted dryvit marisard on the front. The pole sign is not being pre- <br />sented at this time, but will conform_to code. They presented a revised <br />site and landscape plans and advised that the building has been moved <br />back about 10 to 12 feet to allow more gre.en area in the front. The <br />revised landscape plan also includes 5 foot landscape buffers on the <br />side property lines; the rear portion will be left natural and no <br />fencing is planned. The front lighting will be on low poles directed <br />toward the building, the lights on the side will also be directed toward <br />the building, two tall pole lights in the rear will have a circular pat- <br />tern of light disbursement (these will not be lighted when the agency <br />is closed) and there will be some lighting in the landscaping. In ref- <br />erence to the rear property, it was explained that most of it is heavily <br />wooded, but the one portion (about 175 feet deep) is not quite as dense. <br />Building Commissioner Conway advised that the neighbors to the rear did <br />not request a fence, but he did receive a call from a tenant in an adja- <br />cent house on Lorain Road who will request a fence at the next Planning <br />Commission meeting. Mr. Zergott macle a few suggestions on the revised <br />landscape plan:,eliminate the pin oak and use a red maple (Red Sunset or <br />October Glary); replace the Washington Hawthorne with some form of crab <br />or Bradford-near tree; and in some of the planting beds, that one or two <br />of the honey locust be eliminated since they will eventually become too
