He is also requesting that
the.Board look into expanding some of the other registration procedures,ex-
plaining that in the case of large companies such as Sear's or Forest City,
who sell the jobs, but do not do the work, and should be considered as
General Contractors. He believes that licensing these companies would give
the Building Department more leverage if there is a problem with the job
that has been subcontracted. Mr. Konold suggested that this discussion
could be deferred until the next meeting and perhaps Mr. Conway could come
up with some kind of worcling. Mr. Conway pointed out that Section 1317.01,
General Provision, specified that the registration could be expanded when
deemed necessary by the Board of Building Code Appeals. After some discus-
sion, it was decided that this could be expanded under item (d) of this
section. J. Konold moved that all companies or individuals providing services
in the City of North Olmsted governed by this Building Code shall be
registered and or licensed, seconded by B. Schulz, and unanimously approved.
VIIL ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
J, Kazak, Chairman B. Qring,.Glerk of Commissions
